During your summer internship at ID, you'll learn valuable, on-the-job training in all aspects of the PR world -- from personal publicity to marketing and creative branding to corporate communications and crisis management.

Terms:

Experience cannot be resold. Transportation and accommodations are not included. Intern must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship. Internship will last for one semester (or quarter) under the direction of ID-PR in either New York City, New York or Los Angeles, California, as the choice of the winning bidder. Internship will be unpaid. As such, the intern must receive academic credit for the experience. The professor or college counselor will provide a letter on university letterhead stating the intern is receiving course credit. Background check required, reflected in the shipping cost of this item. Background checks require the winning bidder to release DOB/SSN to Charity Folks. Confidentiality is guaranteed. Winning bidder will also need to consent to signing Confidentiality Agreements at the discretion of ID-PR and participating organizations. Must be scheduled over a mutually agreeable set of dates; Experience will expire within one year of auction close. Offices are located in New York and Los Angeles.

The Maximum Bid feature will never bid higher than you tell it to. If the bidding in an auction goes over your maximum bid, you will be sent an e-mail to let you know. To enter a new bid or set an new Maximum Bid, simply return to the lot's page before closing and set a new Maximum Bid or submit a regular bid.

1) How do I use it?

  • Click Bid Now
  • Enter your maximum bid price in the text field.
  • Press the "SET MAX" bid button

2) How does it work?

  • Maximum bids will be submitted on your behalf.
  • Only you know your maximum bid price. It is kept secret from all other bidders.
  • Think carefully before bidding! Once you submit a maximum Bid, you may not retract it.

3) What happens if my Maximum Bid is Outbid?

  • If your Maximum Bid is outbid you will receive an e-mail stating that "you have been outbid..."
  • Click on the link provided to return to the auction before closing.
  • You can then counter with a new bid or a new Maximum Bid.

Popcorn Bidding:

If a bid is placed during the last 10 minutes on a lot during the auction, the closing time will be automatically extended for an additional 10 minutes from the time of the latest bid. The lot will close once all bidding activity has stopped for a period of 10 minutes. Note: Current Bid Amount is not "live." Click Refresh to update it or to see if the auction has been automatically extended by a last minute bid.

Watched Items

To watch an items, simply click on the "Add to Watched List" icon under the Additional Information box on the listing. To view the items in your Watched List simply log into your account and click on Watched Items.
